Selain itu, buku ini juga membahas isu-isu penting dalam ekonomi makro seperti uang, inflasi, kebijakan fiskal, dan kebijakan moneter, lengkap dengan instrumen dan dampaknya terhadap perekonomian. Konsep-konsep seperti elastisitas, surplus konsumen dan produsen, efisiensi pasar, hambatan masuk pasar (barriers to entry), serta kekuatan konsumen (customer power) juga dijelaskan secara mendalam untuk memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai interaksi antar pelaku ekonomi.
